Your design style in one word: Atmospheric.
Favourite material: Cotton rope.
When your best ideas come to you: While creating at the studio, in a waiting room, sitting in the metro…
Amulette: the French word for protection against darkness. Accordingly, Amulette designs allow you to feel safe and comforted by the light and warmth provided by hand woven items. Influenced by the 1960s and ‘70s, all Amulette pieces are handmade from natural fibres such as jute, merino, and alpaca wool.
Annie Legault - Architecture lover. Atmosphere and textile designer - is the founder and creator of Amulette, and holds a BFA from Concordia University in Fibres and Material Practices.
